Martin Coen

Martin Coen joined Dovetail as CEO in December 2006. Before joining Dovetail, Martin worked for the OM Group where he ran several technology businesses as well as Jiway, their Pan-European equities exchange market. More recently, he has held management positions at several smaller financial technology companies, both publicly and privately held.

A financial management veteran, Martin brings to Dovetail his extensive financial market experience covering equities, fixed income and derivatives trading, and transaction processing. His experience is underpinned by a solid background in technology products and services.

Martin holds an MA in Natural Sciences and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cambridge University.

Richard Little

British-born Richard Little has been Dovetail's Chairman since 2001. He joined the company in April 1999, initially as an investor, consultant, and Non-Executive Director.

He has extensive experience in international financial systems markets and the management of entrepreneurial software companies. Richard founded Braid Systems in London in 1982, building it into an international group purchased by Mercator in 1999. Braid subsequently became the International Financial Sector division of Mercator. In his earlier career, Richard was a Sales Representative for Burroughs and Sales Manager for the British microcomputer manufacturer, RAIR.

Richard holds an M.A. in English Literature and Oriental Studies from Cambridge University, UK. A former rower and marathon runner, he is also a keen skier.

Paul Morris

Paul Morris joined Dovetail in July 2007 as Senior Vice President of North American Sales. He brings a wealth of experience in sales and marketing in the software industry for payments processing, financial messaging, sales force automation, and middleware.

He has held positions with such financial institutions and software companies as Bank of Montreal, Co-op Bank, ACI Worldwide, Envoy Systems, Datacrown, and Software Research Corporation.

Peter Cremona

Peter Cremona joined Dovetail in 2006 as Director of European Business Development. His experience includes roles as senior management, presales and implementation management, and business development in such industries as international banking, payments processing operations, electronic banking, financial messaging, and telecommunications.

Peter has held positions with such financial institutions and vendors as Midland Bank, HSBC, Braid Systems, Mercator Software, Ace Software, and Simplex Consulting, and has chaired several worldwide SWIFT User Group conferences.

Barry Tooker

Barry Tooker serves as Senior Vice President of Global Product Management for Dovetail.  A recognized an expert in wholesale banking, Barry has been involved in operations and systems related projects for global banks and software firms as both a consultant and line manager for more than 30 years.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his ability to implement change, and possesses an unrivalled track record for planning, organizing, leading, and managing major initiatives—including leading payment systems re-engineering efforts and other critical software installation projects—for tier 1 banks and financial services organizations around the world.

Barry is a long-standing active member of the International Financial Services Association (IFSA), where he has held a number of positions including Co-Chair of the Payments Systems and Investigations Committee. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of IFSA's Payments and Compensation Committee and will serve as Chairman of September's 2007 IFSA Annual Conference in Orlando.

Bruce Hutcheon

Bruce co-founded Dovetail and is recognized as a pioneer and expert in the field of straight-through processing (STP). He spent a 25-year career refining STP processing of business-critical messages in the telecom and financial services industries.

As a founder and President of Synergistic Communications, Bruce was involved in the design and implementation of Citibank's International Branch Message Switch for funds transfer, Bank of America's MicroStar International Treasury Management System, and trading floor systems in use at Chase and elsewhere. He oversaw the development of MCI's CommDesk Manager product and was the originator and Product Manager of the Q3 Message Server used by the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), MCI, and others.

Prior to founding Dovetail, Bruce was VP of Technology at Braid Inc., Director of New Product Planning at Incotel, and Application Specialist on the Tandem Payments Factory. He holds a BA in Humanities with concentrations in Cybernetics and Music Composition from New College in Sarasota, Florida.
