Dovetail extend their distribution network in deal with Misys International Banking Systems
Dovetail, developer of the world's first truly universal payments system, has signed an agreement with Misys by which the latter will offer packaged payments solutions built from components of the Dovetail Payments System. These will be pre-integrated with the Misys banking and messaging systems to enable Misys clients to modernise their payments infrastructure with the minimum of project upheaval and risk.
The first such package, launched at Sibos last week, provides full support for SEPA Direct Debits. The pre-integrated module gives Misys banking customers a straightforward and low risk way of addressing the full payments processing and mandate management requirements for SEPA. “The new Misys SEPA Direct Debit module from Dovetail gives our customers a pre-integrated, comprehensive solution to meet the forthcoming SEPA requirements and enable a timely launch of SEPA DD services to their clients,” comments Barry Kislingbury, Product Manager Payments and Messaging, Misys Banking.
“Misys banking and treasury and capital markets have over 1,200 customers worldwide. This deal represents another significant step in extending our distribution network,” says Martin Coen, Dovetail's Group CEO.
The deal is made possible by Dovetail's component-based approach. Specific solutions can be assembled and packaged to fit seamlessly with existing systems. “We've proven our pragmatic SOA approach time and time again – assembling flexible, high performance payments systems from the Dovetail components,” adds Coen.
